Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of fundwithus.org, the Fund With Us platform, campaign tools, donation features, review processes, and related services.

Last updated: July 29, 2026Fund With Us
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using Fund With Us, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Fund With Us provides technology that allows organizers to create fundraising campaigns and donors to support those campaigns. We may provide campaign-management tools, accept campaign submissions, review campaign materials, process donation information, facilitate approved disbursements, and take trust-and-safety action.

Every campaign is subject to review by the Fund With Us Campaign Review Committee before publication. The Committee may approve, reject, request changes, require additional evidence, impose conditions, or place a campaign under enhanced monitoring. Approval may be withdrawn if information becomes inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or inconsistent with platform rules.

Fund With Us does not guarantee that a campaign will reach its goal, that campaign statements are complete or accurate, that a beneficiary will use funds exactly as expected, or that any particular result will occur.

Fund With Us is not a bank, charity, escrow agent, fiduciary, legal adviser, tax adviser, investment adviser, or financial adviser. Unless expressly stated otherwise, contributions are not purchases, investments, loans, or tax-deductible charitable donations.

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
  • You must provide complete, accurate, and current information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
  • You may not use the platform from a jurisdiction where your use would violate applicable law or payment-provider rules.
  • We may suspend or restrict access when verification is incomplete or when account activity presents legal, fraud, sanctions, payment, or safety concerns.

Creating a draft does not create a right to publication, payment processing, or disbursement. Each campaign must be submitted for review.

The Committee may consider identity, beneficiary authority, campaign purpose, requested amount, supporting documents, location, proposed use of funds, prior account history, legal restrictions, sanctions exposure, reputational concerns, fraud indicators, payment-provider rules, and whether the campaign can be reasonably monitored.

The Committee may require a revised title, revised story, clearer use-of-funds breakdown, lower funding goal, additional documents, beneficiary consent, milestones, enhanced reporting, staged disbursement, or other safeguards.

Organizers are solely responsible for campaign content, beneficiary authorization, supporting evidence, updates, intended use of funds, taxes, reporting obligations, legal compliance, and any promises made to donors.

Organizers must use campaign funds only for the stated purpose. If circumstances materially change, organizers must provide a clear and timely update and obtain approval before materially redirecting funds.

Fund With Us may require identity documents, beneficiary consent, invoices, estimates, tax information, PayPal information, business or nonprofit records, medical or emergency verification, contracts, photographs, delivery evidence, or other supporting materials.

Organizers must preserve records relating to receipt and use of funds and provide them upon request.

Donors are responsible for reviewing campaign information before contributing. A contribution does not create ownership, equity, repayment, profit, reward, governance, or investment rights unless expressly and lawfully stated.

Donors should report suspected fraud, impersonation, unauthorized use of personal information, misuse of funds, or material inconsistencies promptly.

Donations are processed through Stripe. Stripe may collect and process payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Payment authorization does not guarantee final settlement. A contribution may be delayed, declined, reversed, disputed, refunded, or charged back by Stripe, a card network, a bank, or another payment provider.

Approved campaign funds are disbursed through PayPal where PayPal is available and the recipient maintains an eligible, verified, and unrestricted PayPal account.

Disbursement timing depends on Committee approval, donor-payment settlement, fraud checks, sanctions screening, reserves, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, provider availability, recipient verification, and applicable law.

PayPal may impose fees, account reviews, holds, limitations, reversals, currency conversion, or other restrictions under its own terms. Fund With Us does not control PayPal and does not guarantee that PayPal will accept, hold, release, or deliver funds.

For campaigns with a goal or approved funding amount above USD 35,000, Fund With Us may use staged disbursements. Funds may be released in installments only after the organizer provides invoices, receipts, contracts, photographs, delivery records, beneficiary acknowledgments, bank or PayPal records, or other evidence showing that previously released funds were used for the stated purpose. Fund With Us may pause, reduce, deny, reverse, or condition later installments if evidence is insufficient, inconsistent, delayed, or raises legal, fraud, safety, sanctions, or misuse concerns.

Fund With Us is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PayPal or Stripe.

The Committee may approve a written milestone plan before publication or before the first disbursement. A milestone plan may specify permitted expenses, documentary evidence, disbursement percentages, reporting deadlines, reserve amounts, inspection rights, and conditions for later releases.

If the campaign is denominated in another currency, Fund With Us may apply the USD 35,000 threshold using a reasonable exchange rate at the time of review.

  • Examples of acceptable evidence may include paid invoices, receipts, supplier contracts, medical statements, construction progress photographs, shipping records, payroll records, beneficiary confirmations, or official permits.
  • Evidence must be authentic, legible, consistent with the campaign purpose, and reasonably sufficient to trace the use of funds.
  • Submitting evidence does not guarantee release of the next installment.
  • Fund With Us may appoint an independent reviewer or request professional verification where appropriate.

Fund With Us may charge platform, payment-processing, payout, currency-conversion, dispute, refund, compliance-review, evidence-verification, or other disclosed fees.

The amount available for disbursement may differ from the gross amount displayed because of fees, refunds, chargebacks, disputes, reserves, taxes, currency conversion, or provider deductions.

  • We may review, reject, pause, limit, unpublish, or remove a campaign.
  • We may delay or block a disbursement while reviewing identity, authority, campaign claims, evidence, fraud, sanctions, prohibited activity, disputes, or inconsistent information.
  • We may request additional documents, explanations, interviews, or beneficiary confirmation before allowing donations or disbursements.
  • We may monitor campaign updates, milestone performance, use of funds, donation patterns, and payout activity.
  • We may preserve and disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the public.

Users may not engage in fraud, impersonation, deceptive fundraising, unauthorized use of another person's identity or story, money laundering, sanctions evasion, harassment, infringement, illegal activity, misuse of funds, falsification of evidence, or conduct prohibited by our Campaign Rules or payment-provider policies.

Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy. Chargebacks and payment disputes may reduce campaign balances, delay or cancel payouts, create reserves, or result in amounts owed by the organizer.

Organizers retain ownership of content they submit but grant Fund With Us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, distribute, display, and promote that content for platform operation, trust and safety, campaign promotion, evidence review, and legal compliance.

Organizers represent that they have all rights and permissions necessary to use campaign content and that it does not violate privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, confidentiality, or other rights.

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit any part of the platform. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with every device or service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fund With Us will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; lost data; campaign failure; organizer misuse; third-party conduct; payment-provider restrictions; or delays outside our reasonable control.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Fund With Us harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your campaign, content, use of funds, evidence submissions, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of another person's rights.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
